About us

The Chinese Language Teachers’ Association of the Northern Territory (CLTANT) was established in 2018 and operates under the CLTANT Constitution.

It is associated with the Professional Teachers' Association of the Northern Territory (PTANT) and the Chinese Language Teachers' Federation of Australia (CLTFA). As a not-for-profit organisation, CLTANT is managed voluntarily by a committee of local educators and professionals involved in Chinese language instruction.
This year, we plan to host professional development sessions for teachers to further support the teaching and learning of Mandarin.

We are proud to report that CLTANT has successfully expanded its active membership to include schools across Darwin and Alice Springs, encompassing both primary and secondary institutions.
